kids? a spouse? etc.)? A: I am married 17 years with a daughter 16 and son 13.
Q: What is your Profession? Have you had any other professions prior to your current one? A: CPA and money manager
Q: Besides poker, what else interests you? A: golf, playing hoops, coaching sports, watching sports, the beach
Q: What’s your favorite books/movies/TV? A: Authors: Clive Cussler & David Baldacci. Movies: Lord Of the Rings, Star Wars, Rain Man, The Perfect Storm, V For Vendetta, Gone With the Wind, Dr. Zhivago, Rebecca (love Hitchcock) TV: Seinfeld and The Shield are only TV shows I currently watch besides sports.
Q: Any particular songs/genres of music that you relate to? A: Country, rock
Q: What are your pet peeves? A: People who don't respect others.
Q: Your worst fear? A: My children will have a tougher world to live in.
Q: What's your favourite food? A: Rack of Lamb and Bananas Foster (a tie)
Q: Take us through a day in your life. A: Work, work, work, then off to gym or coaching or maybe golf. I usually play poker after 10PM.
Q: Who are your heroes? A: My dad is my #1 hero. As far as someone else who has influenced my life I'd have to say Thomas Jefferson (my favorite person in history)
Q: Are you related to, or do you know personally, or have you met anybody famous? A: Met plenty of famous people, just yesterday Willis Reed, Rick Barry, Chris Mullen and other basketball greats at a golf tournament where i finished 3rd. Was in radio and TV awhile so have met many stars and sit courtside at Madision Square Garden for Knick games so meet many celebs there as well..
Q: Explain what a perfect day would be like for you: A: Lying on a beach in the Caribbean with a good book and a glass of wine and a woman who worshiped me.
POKER RELATED QUESTIONS: Q: What is your biggest poker cash or accomplishment? A: As far as players won a freeroll on Party with over 2,500 players that took about 8 hours. Biggest cash will be a secret though sorry.
Q: Are you more of a tournament player or ring games? What buy-in/stakes do you play at? A: Play mostly SNGs $55+ and limit ring at 15/30 or 30/60.
Q: Do you play competitively or for recreation? How much time per week do you spend on poker? A: Recreation but am more than a bit competitive.
5-15 hours per week.
Q: Do you have any favorite poker pro’s? If so, why are they your favorites? A: Marcel Luske. I love his style and I dress like him when I visit casinos
Q: Briefly explain how you got into poker (Possibly include age, influences, and location) A: Played poker since a kid (my dad had home games though mostly wild card games) WPT on TV got me to try Party Poker.
Q: What is your favorite poker site to play on? A: Full Tilt is now my favorite site. The play is horrible compared to Stars and as I am also playing Razz a lot now, it is the place to be (plus I have rakeback there).
Q: Do you have a favorite (Hold'em) hand? A: A6s. Biggest cash I ever had in a ring game with caps to river with 5 callers and flop of 666.
Q: What’s your favorite tourney format? (Possibly include ideal # of entrants, blind level timer, type of game, buy-in, etc.) A: I play best in 9-man SNGs but like 45 man SNGs and 500 player tourneys as well.
Q: In live games, do you have a good pokerface? A: Very good (read Joe Navarro)
Q: Are you a better live or online player? A: EQUAL
Q: What is your weakest point playing online besides not drinking? A: Clicking too fast in reaction to a re-raise.
Q: As of today, what are your poker ambitions? A: None other than keeping my player of the month title where it belongs IN USA.
Q: If not for poker in your life what would you do in your spare time? A: Way too much I am passing up.
