Ask any pro if you play Ax you better either raise or fold it, gives you more ways to win the pot. Plus will help you get a read on your opponents cards. If you just limp in then get a flop like 257 , how will you know what your opponent has he may of limped in with 7-2 or something. Which he would of never played, at least with a raise you will hopefully know they have some more playable hands which that flop probably didnt help them

I just read my post actually it depends alot on position too, if your early a raise or fold is the best play.

In my opinion 10J and QJ arent playable possibly KJ but not early position.

I recently downloaded a starting chart that I found on this website. I was wondering what the numbers mean in the boxes. For example...say I have 10 9s in late position...according to this chart, it says to call 2 in an unraised pot...call 5 in a raised pot. Could someone tell me what this means please? Thank you for your assistance.

If you are confident with them then play but you can always wiat because there is another hand coming along. I never go in with A9 or lower wait yes i do .....lol but yea they arent good hands to be playing.
