Don't be a caller either raise or reraise. Only call if you are trapping. In your situation Mattastic i would reraise him all-in with any pair any Ace and even any King/suited Queen or Jack. Even if he has you beat you are not that big of a dog and if he has nothing he will fold or he will call and you will be a favorite.

Thanks for the advice ladies and gents. I've re-read my HOH2 and taken note. I am now a heads-up genius, lmao!

Ya know, now that I think about it -- and I don't like giving away trade secrets any more than the next bloke -- but be very weary of Harrington's advice on post-flop play at the online lower limit tourneys. Bluffs, semi bluffs, etc. do not work. I learned the hard way by quickly getting knocked out of a couple of MTT's on Stars and Poker Room implementing his methods. Online you simply have to have it.

I don't know how much Harrington played online before that book went to press, but I have a feeling it wasn't much. You have to throw away AQ when it doesn't hit, in my opinion. Harrington advises continuation bets. That might be fine if you have a big stack and are known at the table as a tight player. If you insist on using the post-flop continuation bet and nothing comes on the turn, then definitely check and fold.

But that's just Elvis talking. I'm sure if I posted something like this on the Usenet newsgroup I would get the stuffing knocked out of me. Again, it's just my personal experience that if you don't have it, get the devil out of the hand.
