Dont really know which order to put this all in.
I have played in the league which i throughly enjoyed and i think it has helped my game alot.
I usually play in games ranging from $1-$10multis and $5-$15 sng.
I started with $50 at the start of the league and managed to win the first one and have had a few solid placings in the league and played a numerous multi's and sng's through the nine weeks of the league so far.
I had managed to get the account up to just over $200 and couldnt sleep last night so put the computer on and first game i seen was 180man $20 sng.
As u can see from above not my usual limits i set myself but give it a shot and managed to win it for a whopping sum of $1080.
Now the dilema.
My account is now just under $1300.
What do i do now.
(1) cash out
(2) up my limits slightly and try to win more.
I think myself i should cash out $1000 and stick to my above limits and see if i can repeat this and make sure it wasnt a flash in the pan.
e.g try and get to the $1000 mark from the remaining funds.

| | | | i say cash out 900 and keep going with your limits. Why raise limits if you are winning? Remember that raising levels does change how the game is. | |

| | | | I say take out $1110 put $110 into full tilt and pay for your league season 1 at full tilt, this leaves you $1000 to take out or use for getting bonuses at other sites and still leave you some at pokerstars
just my thoughts | |

| | | | This what you should do...open a neteller account, withdraw $700, now you BK should be at $600. Do not move up in levels!! Take your $600 and build it up too $800, then you withdraw $200 and so on...
Does a $1000 cashout really change anyting for your economy? Now you have a real shot at building a healty bankroll. Stick too playing $5-$20 sngs, and you'll se your BK growing.
Dividing up your BK between many different site is not something I would recommend. Bonuswhoring can be profitable if you are a good ring player, but not so much as a sng player.
Could you provide your sng stats?
But in the end it's your choise, have fun and don't get crazy!!

If you can control your emotions and be discipline enough to stay at limits you are comfortable with then you can probably leave it all-in.
Nice win | |

| | | | Nice win Raymond. tvaal's advise seems to make the most sence...however, I would also take 50 or 100 and open up at one or two smaller sites...you might find that you might do very well at the smaller sites. As far as the bonus, yes don't waste your load-up in the ring (unless you are a good ring player) trying to free it up, however some sites count sng's and MTT's to free it up also. | |

| | | | Hmmmmm, I would cash out at least $500, and work the rest at your usual levels. You would then have a comfortable bankroll if you hit a bad streak and can set a goal of when to cash out more. | |

| | | | im with jvelez, cash out around $900 but stay at the same limits, this way if you do go on tilt or hit a bad streak your bankroll is still more than the $50 you started with | |

| | | | Thank you all for your comments.
I dont play ring games really as i like to know how much im losing b4 i start sort of thing. I usually find in ring games people will go in with big stacks and if the sense any hesiation the stick big raises in and lift pots cause they know that alot of players wont call. I think these sort of players actually have the rolls to do it and can win alot. Your probably saying play limit poker then but i find that people will just chase to the river with next to nothing and usually hit which is frustrating.
As my stats for sng's i would say i would say i cover myself with a small profit.
Again many thanks for your time.

| | | | Let me ask you this. Do you only play poker online or do you play home games and casino poker tables as well? If the answer is yes then I would move $1000 into a neteller account. Then move half of that back into your bank account or open a savings account. Now you have a bankroll for online, some reserve at neteller and a decent banroll to build in home games and casino poker games as well. This will also give you a goal to steadily grow both bankrolls.
If you only play online then move $1000 back into neteller and leave it. Above all else, do not change your limits. Someone said that when you change limits the play changes. They are very right about that. Stick to the limits your comfortable with and don't risk moving higher right now. You don't want to undo all you have done thus far. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread
