| | | | 20 mistakes of losers The 20 biggest mistakes that a beginners or losers makes are as follows:
1.) I don't have anything, but he's bluffing and doesn't have shit....I'll call.
2.) I have an Ace...it is an overcard to any card on board, if I hit I will win...I just need to bet or call to the river.
3.) There is a pair on board...it is very unlikely that an opponent has one...I will call his big bet.
4.) There is a pair on board, I will bet heavy to represent tripps, I won't walk into an opponent that really has one.
5.) I have pocket 3's...I will call his big bets even though every card on board is an overcard to my pair, he probably doesn’t have a pair and I can always hit a set if he does.
6.) Wow I have a str8...it’s a losers str8...but it’s a str8...I'll go all-in.
7.) Damn I hit my flush...I only have 62 but it’s a flush...I'll go all-in.
8.) I can hit a nut flush with runner runner...its worth a try, I've seen it happen before...
9.) Yes I have to call my bank at the turn, but if I hit the river I will have a nut flush and beat him.
10.) I'll go all-in on the 1st hand of the tournament...who, in their right mind is going to risk calling all there chips on the 1st hand!
11.) I have low suited cards, its worth calling that pre-flop raise...I could draw a flush.
12.) I'll be the third all-in caller with AT, but if I win I will win a monster pot and that will put me near the tournament lead.
13.) Hey any 2 cards can win, I will call that all-in with my Q2o, even though it is for 6,000 chips early in the tournament...(this one just beat my KK pockets in my last tournament...when two 2's flopped)
14.) yes, it’s a pre-flop raise, I'll call my K even though my kicker is a 2...after all, I do have a K.
15.) You don't need 2 high cards to play...all you have to do is hit your high card to win.
16.) yes the board went to a 4 card flush board...but I mad my flush with 3 on the board, mine might be low, but I have 2 of them...I'll go all-in.
17.) I only have bottom pair, but I will call his monster bet...because, well because I have a pair.
18.) Eh why not its a freeroll, why not its an FPP tourney, why not its only a $3 tourney, why not it only cost me $10+1 entry and I can win a big prize pool.
19.) yes, I know that I am going all-in on almost every hand...but I have to leave the game, got things to do.
20.) Hey it’s only a game...don't take it so serious.
21.) The flop is what counts...I can play any 2 cards!
Laugh, but all the above happen all the time and they will also knock you out....will they be winners overall? never, unless you call the winners the sites, the loan company and their opponents!
I added an extra one for good measure.

| | | | They all happen. And instead of fuming about it when it does I just hope they are at my table next tournament and go play some viloent video game. Or pet my dog, he always seems to know when I need calming down. Long haul is what I look for. If it wasn't for fish, who would we take money from? | |

| | | | yeah it's true I love too hate beginners.
Consider this...years ago there where alot less beginners then there are today. And beginners do make stupid plays, but that's how they learn, everyone has too go thru it. I'm betting you do most of your tourney play at PS, right? Where does almost everyone start playing online poker? PS or PP. Hell, atleast you are a great teacher.

| Well said tvaal. Like it or not, these players aren't going anywhere. We were all one of these players at point in time and now, for the most part, enjoy taking their money.
If you wish to avoid these people all-together, Forget it!!. But you can minimize the field. Play in higher $$ buy in tourneys. They are still there but not as much as in the lower $$ buy-ins.
Play on a different site. Like tvaal said Pokerstars and Party Poker have the most players and they also have the most of the "New" players as well. Try any of the smaller sites who dont advertise as much. They are still there just not in the #'s as the other sites. Thus, lowering the possibility that you'll run into one.
Play in more of the THF games. Better quality opponents.

| | | | There's a great line in the movie "Rounders" If you can't spot the sucker at the table inthe first 30 minutes, you're the sucker.
They'll be there at every table and at every site. Pros search them out. Exploit them. But in doing so they invite the occasional bad beat. Remeber Rule #1: Dont try to school the fish

| | | | I am so lmao right now. Just had some idiot call my all in, after I caught him trying to steal the blinds, with 9 2o. I had KK. He actually said "THere are no bad cards, just bad flops." He won by the way. Sucked out 2 nines... amazing | |

| | | | I would rather a table of morons over a table of THF anyday. THF guys kick my little arse Personally, I try to note the real idgits and/or honest newbs and either trap them when an opportunity presents or avoid them. | |
