An analysis of my game!

I have just recently begun playing low-stakes NL holdem online. For whatever reason I don't seem to be playing anywhere near of what my experience with live poker and play money (online) games should allow. Here's an overview of my recent play, maybe something will stick out to those of you more experienced with online play.

Statistics are for mostly all 5 and 6-way tables:

Games won: 19%
Showdowns won: 54%
Flop seen: 48%
Win % of flops seen: 38%

My actions:
Fold: 31%
Check 28%
Call: 20%
Bet 12%
Raise 6%
Re-raise: 1%

Where I fold:
Pre-flop: 49%
Flop: 13%
Turn: 5%
River: 2%
No Fold: 29%

I know i'm playing poorly, I haven't played much of any poker the last few months. I just can't figure out what the main problems are yet. Any criticism is welcome!

Way too many flops seen

too hands played and too many pots seen to the river. which means ur playing below average hands and catching a small part of them and then trying to catch all the way to the river, or playing to many low connected hands and trying to draw out, my advice....limit yourself to premium hands, and learn to fold when your beat.

my guess is u dont know your odds or percentages, so again my advice would be to learn them. poker is not all luck of the draw, its skill in math, knowing the probabilities.

maybe work on this part of your game also.

the good news is i excell at math. I will definitly work on that.

Maybe i'm playing so poorly due to the fact that I'm taking a math class (calculus) for the first time in 1.5 years, and wish not to do MATH when i'm not actually in MATH!!

keep in mind i'm playing tables with mostly 5 and 6, sometimes 4 players at a time.

I agree with these guys also. But one other thing that I would like to comment on, and Im sure that some may disagree. I think that your call to raise ratio is way off. It looks to me like your a calling station. Thats not good. You want to put the decision on your opponents. If your coming into a pot you should raise, if you dont want to raise then you should fold. (With a few exceptions). Also, if your bet into and you think your hand is good...then reraise. I feel that the call is the most overused play in poker, especially no-limit. Just my opinion.

That is a slightly high % of flops seen for 6 man table, but a lot of this information can be misleading. You may have been playing against very loose players.

I like to note how many loose players are at the table and how many tight players. Then look at the # of flops seen.

Try to get as much info as you can. There is no harm in recording useless information. But there is a big problem when you need to know something and failed to record it.
