Default This a bad move?

I get 22 in big blind. Have about 3500 in chips. Blinds are 100-200. It's a 5.50 SNG with 4 left. Low man with around 1000 moves all in. I put him on AT or AJ. I figured heck, why not. Either double him up and be average, or take him out and be the chip leader. It was a coinflip so I called. He shows QT. Nothing came for either and I won. He proceded by swearing and calling me all sort of names. "How could you call with that weak of a hand?" I liked that considering I had the favorite, barely, preflop. I don't know, maybe it is just me. Let me know what you think.

pocket pairs are better than any draw imho. Yes 22- 66 or 77 are volatile and I wont call or push with more than one raise ahead of me ( usually I wont call an all in with them), but generally speaking, you took a good risk, especially short handed, you had him beat going in, and won. He was a poor sport for yelling at you Short handed your 2s are fine, better than fine.

I also agree with your rationlization on that play. You were able to afford calling him. Nicely done.

any one geting angry over loosing is to emotional and not playing the game of poker.
poker is a game of long term not one hand in a sng. calling his allin wasn't a bad play him going allin w/ q 10 sounds like a desperate play. i wouldn't worry about it take the cash and move on
