I tend to play A9 sometimes, but not often, and I don't raise much unless it's AQ or better.

Yeah.. I'm a tight player for the most part. I'm not as tight in cash rooms, as I'm more comfortable in them.

if youre going to be playing hands like A9, its usually better to put in a raise...actually its pretty much always better to put in a raise..not only are you getting rid of trash hands that can outdraw you on the flop, but you are representing a strong hand, and if the flop is low offsuited unconnected cards eg. 2,6,9 then you can bet and be pretty confident that your opponent will fold unless they have a made hand like pocket kings or something

Ace-Q-2 is a ace rag in early position. I hear so much complaining about AK but no one bitch about AQ, witch is a much worse hand, but it is still played like AK. And remember that AX suited or unsuited is a drawing hand. If you don't hit the flop and face a bet, get out.
