Its cool CRAPSHOOT,
Ive had a real crappy day at work, nothing but complaints, and when i looked on THF on my break, i had just had enough!!!
We all know Kaarts a good player, I wish i good get a streak of
winning 8 out 10 and now 11 out 14 and won six 2-table Heads Up matches in a row, all 10 dollar. These stats seem unbelievable, and ill say lucky!!! LOL

A run of good luck, id say.
Im never gonna drop this dispute with you Kaart, Luck over skill.

Need to get a heads up organised with you when ive fixed my computer, to see who is the luckiest! lol

I have only played in two of those kaart and finished 3rd one time and out in second round (someone caught a flush on the river to knock me out)

I have two key bits of advice for you.

1) keep a pocket calculator by your side. Use your brain for playing and the calculator for sums. Each round (later rounds) divide blinds by your chips stack. Do this for a few bets at the start of each game in the later rounds and you'll soon get a feeling for what size of bet means what. But use a calculator - dont waste brain energy.

2) decide whether or not you need to relax when waiting for next games to start or whether you can watch other games and gain reads. This only applies after first few rounds. I personally only got through to 3rd place (in the 64 player one) by making reads whilst watching other peoples games. At the same time I know i must take some breaks so I would only do this now during last 16 and only if I felt reasonably sharp. This can give you a real edge if you end up against someone who has had a long battle which you have watched. Also remember that some people will do the same so try not to spring traps which your new opponent saw you do in the last round.

I heard someone say he knows who your next opponent is. Is it something like the winner from the game above you or the one above that? It's indeed nice to know so could study your next opponent.

I don't think so...I believe that it is picked randomly....I have heard that also, but think it was a lucky guess and did pick the above player.

I have to admit I felt pretty clueless once we got to heads up. I got that far by playing tight-aggressive (I think) but I just couldn't handle the incessent blinds/raises during heads up. Any tips?
Just play your own game but adjust to your opponent. For beginners I would say raise 3 times the BB if you have any reasonable hand: face cards, suited cards, connectors and any pair. Remember that you are playing just against 1 player and not 8 players. So the chances that the other player gets a monster hand every time are very very slim, he's getting the same crappy hands you are getting. Don't call big bets unless you have the nuts ofcourse. Never bet all your money on a hand you think might be good enough. Steal little by little of his chipstack. Take your time and don't play his games. Bluff on the turn when he checked twice. Stay unpredictable to keep him guessing. In a matter of time you will have your own style you feel comfortable with.

Yes, at the beginning there are 128 players at 64 tables, in the 2nd round table 1 plays table 2, t3 plays t4 and so on. Same thing in the quad and triple shootouts they had (now THESE I want to see as lower limit daily or weekly cash tournys) but in the triple 516 players at 64 tables, tables 1-8 play each other in 2nd round, 9-16, etc.
