Default finally 1 sort of bad beat for me

I am normally at the losing end of a bad beats by probably 90+95%...however this one was in my favor...it is not really a bad beat...but it sort of is.

my opponent with QQ bets all-in and I call his all-in with QQ.

The board lays out four to a flush and my Q matches.

I hate four flush boards, because I normally lose with them like the other day in a large tourney I flop two pair Aces over 7's...I try to get my opponent out and he won't leave...on the turn he hits two pair three's over two's and goes all-in...of course I call and the board lay's out a fourth club on the river and his 3 matches.

Hey It's one hell of a bad beat. If I was on the other side I would be pissed.

No bad beat there. Two good hands one was outdrawn. When you beat someone who has a better hand ... but your hand isnt a bad hand...is it a bad beat or just a tough beat?

Lets say his opponent raises 500 and Crapshoot calls. The flop comes up suited. Then his opponent goes all in and Crapshoot calls.
Is that a bad beat or just a bad bet? w...hen Crapshoot hits his flush?

Well I agree that it is a tough beat post flop because crap has a lsighter chance of winning. But I think Its a bad beat having the same hand and losing to a flush.

I would say that isn't a bad beat. You both had good hands preflop. You just got lucky that you flushed and he got unlucky that you flushed.

It is just a tough beat for him. Like today I went all in against 3 times. Once I even had QQ. All three times I was facing AA and didn't get any help. Tough Beats for sure. But, if I had won I am not sure I would have called that a bad beat I pulled on someone.

I really think bad beats are only when you have a good hand and the other person has trash and beats you with it. At least that is my definition of a bad beat.

I've seen a hand just like that. Here is how it goes: three players are in the hand, and after a lot of reraising, all three are all-in preflop. One had KK, the other two both have AA. Obviously, the two with aces are drawing dead to make their sets. The flop is 2 cards of the same suit, plus one king, so now the person with KK is ahead. The turn is a third card of that same suit, and the river is the fourth of the suit (without the board ever pairing) so one guy with AA won with the nuts flush. I was not involved in the hand, but I was sitting at the table.

WOW kiklo...would that drive you to quitting the game for good if you were the K's or the other Aces....its bad enough as to what happened to the aces...but then the K's...unreal.

Did the K's also have the suit?
