Why do you want to bother with posting...its a hassle!

We all know that reading post helps our game. We can also get good information from reading books, you can also search the internet for articles on poker that will improve your game. Watching outhers players play is another good method. It is also a good idea to join a forum and play in the tournaments for comradery. The expierence of playing in games will also help to improve your game when you think about your mistakes and ways that you could have played a better game. You don't need to go through the hassle of posting....the above mentioned is enough to improve your game...or is it!

Writing post and even better writing threads is probably one of the most important ways of improving your game. Writing a good post or thread makes your thoughts come out and burn deeper into your mind. It brings out other players view point on your view...and agree or disagree you will mull it over in your mind and either become stronger in your view or you will change your view because of the disagreement. Hold'em is a mind game and if you want to play it well, then you better get your mind in order on the game.

I know that in my case...the single most import thing that I have done to improve my game is writing all the post and threads that I have.

So get your game in order...think of a thread to write or respond to a thread! But just don't write to write...give deep and meaningful thought to your statement...and I guarantee, it will also help you to improve your game more than enything else that you have done!

4real you called it like it is, writing post and threads is a great way to learn this game specially from playaz tht experience different scenerios in the game when i first join THF i didnt know much about Texashold em, play it live about
3times the first time my friends help me with it since i was new to this game
and of course i lost the second time lol i rock them hit them like a storm
and they didnt like tht a rookie aka newjack, just play a mind game an with decent card i did ok, but what did it was the mind game for me they couldnt beleive the calls i was making anyway the 3rd time i got i came in 3rd place since i havent played live do to the schedule of live playing so started playing on pokerstars lost some money but learned from it since i've been sharpening my skill in poker an alot of knowledge is been from here THF
and watching THF members play, the # 1thing i learned was (patience)
is the key when playing online, i use to chase a strgh. pay to see cards
just play the game like i thought i new wht i was doin and it cost me. but there was so much to it tht i'm still learning i run into my friend and talk poker with them and isee there reaction like yeah i really know wht i'm saying i feel like i'm at there
level and is been all to the post an thread i read. i didnt beleive in luck
but in poker u got2 beleive in luck. so it does help to post, i 4real didnt know how to go about posting also felt like what are playaz ,readers gonna think about it an you know wht it doesnt matter cause i was just trying to get my game strgh.so my advice is the more post an thread you write an read the better ur game gets it helped mine and about writing you just got to be honest with ur words and call it like it is.

I must agree. I have been absent from the threads and truly missed it. I have told anyone who wants to talk poker about the site. I tell them the more you read, discuss, analyze, and put on paper ( or computer) the better you game will become. I have personally started writing a mini book on my personal strategy. I have found it has made my game much stronger, while making me look at how I truly feel about all the situations this great game puts us in.
