Late Position is good, Except when you have no chips
When you are short stacked, Early Position is key
Explanation
When playing in a tournament when you have enoguh chips late position is good because you can make decisions based on everyone elses bets. When you are shortstacked and are being consumed by blinds, late position is bad because you have less power if people call the BB, because they are pot committed.
When playing short stacked, if you are in a early position, i.e right of the BB you can make a big all-in bet before anyone else has a chance to limp in, therefore for someone to call or limp in it is harder, and you are more likely to have less people in the hand.
