TIP 4 PLAYING TIGHT. People are constantly talking about hand selection, pre-flop, post-flop, turn and river odds.
I used to be a very aggressive player it found it hard to play tight, i guess iliked the action
a bit too much. Then i started thinking about the number of hands which you can actually get

This list helps me make decisions whilst playing. Obviously there are more
hands if u include suits, but generally this is imprtant.
for example i can work out quickly
if i recon someone has a king or not. e.g there was 13 hands out of 92
where someone could have a king.
Also helps you play tight knowing this stuff like I know i will get a
premium hand, dpending on what u define as a premium hand 7 or 8 times in 92 hands.
Or a pocket pair 13 times out of 92.
Scroll down the list look how many crap hands there are. there are very few actual good hands, and this can emphasize why u shud play high cards heads up etc. |
