Default Would you call this all in???

Just curious to see how you would play this hand.
Its a 15 dollar turbo sit n go.Its early everyone has the same amount basically.
You have
Someone doubles blind to 30 and you call.Head to head now.
Flop comes
You misread and only see the jack so you check.
He raises all in.
Do you call?

More than likely. The question I have for you is what position was the raiser in? If he raised in early position it is likely he doesn't have the K 10 as that isn't a particularly strong hand at a full table (even if it's suited). If he's in late position he may have been trying to steal the blinds with K 10 since (even though it isn't great) it is decent and has a lot of possibilities.

He may have QQ or JJ, but that is also unlikely as you have one of the queens and there is one on the board. I wouldn't suspect he has aces as a raise of only 2x the BB isn't that much to raise with a hand that you really want to play against only one person. I do however think he has an ace, and the thing I have to ask myself is if he has AJ or AQ in which case you're toast. Again this isn't too likely so I probably don't put him on it.

I put him on A 10, figuring he has top pair with an straight draw which is reasonable to believe is the best hand in this situation. If he really had the set or the nut straight he would probably try to bleed you dry a little more realizing he is in control and is hoping you caught a piece of the flop. Going all-in is no way to make a lot of money unless you caught a huge part of the flop and he's sure to get a call (which he can't possibly know at this point).

I say you call him.

i would call. there was a chance that he had the str8 but dont forget, there are sitll outs for you to make a boat IF the unlikley chance of him having the better hand is true. However with a tiny raise pre flop like that to me would represent a low pair or Ace with lo kicker. If you had an ace with a kicker higher than a 10 u would make a pretty good bet to force out all of thsoe suited connections and hands that owuld make a str8 ect.

Hang on, why would someone go and push a flopped set of aces all in with someone checking before them? I mean come on if u wanna win some money u just dont go and do what do u? the only hand that beats u is KT so u are pretty safe with AAA

I would have called too, and like you been shocked to see AA in his hand! Thats rough and definately not a good way to start the day. Just have to get him next time and I hope you took a note on that player for the next time. See ya on the tables and May The Flop Be With You, and in your case the turn and river too. (LOL)

i would have called, for many reasons. 1 being you have 3 spades and theres still the turn and river, not likely but its a possible flush. 2 you have chances of getting a boat with either another queen or jack. And if he only doubled the blind, either he thinks that game wasnt for serious players or hes just dumb. cuz only people do that to keep a bad player in by baiting him. And if you payed to be in that satalite, i would definitly call, seeing this guy probably has rags. Even if he has trips, you still got a possibility to beat him. I would acually make him wait, seeing its online, see if he gets unpatient and says "lets go" or w/e....because if he doesnt say anything, hes prob bluffin and is to busy going "plz dont call, plz dont call"

No doubt i would have called. Your ahead in the hand unless he has pockets to make a set...in whiich case he would have most likely raised pre-flop...or he has the straight...chances are he duznt have the striaght but even if he does...you have so many outs that it pays to call. You have flush and stairght draws with a boat possibility.
