Good points everyone,
Since only 2 of 7 cards are known, anything can happen and it just wasnt worth the risk in my eyes. I wouldn't change my play if everyone here was still against me like my friends are but its much easier to come here and talk with people who can understand my play.
I was hoping to see a solid defense for the contrary even still though. That way i could build off the knowledge, but it seems that most people agree on the play. I will do some research and post what i find on odds for AK preflop just so people following this thread can build some knowledge off it since there is not yet a defense for the other side of the argument.
Anyway, good news is, the guy finally shut up about it for now lol. I hope he forgets about it, theres no arguing with him. Closed minded and stubborn on this idea he is. |
