| Learn to deal from the bottom of the deck Theory, Advice, Strategies | |

| | | | Learn to deal from the bottom of the deck If you ever play at non legal card games…other than home games (and maybe even there) you might want to learn dealing from the bottom of the deck and the mechanics grip…not for your own use, but so that you may spot it if an opponent or the house is dealing from the bottom…if you are good at doing it…it will be easier for you to spot someone else doing it.
If you do encounter this sort of cheating, I do not recommend confrontation, instead chalk it up to experience leave the game and never go back.
In non legal games you cannot be too careful.

| | | | I did some magic trick with card before and here some other thing you MUST look at if you think there is a cheater:
He will sometime take a quick look at the bottom card and will cut the deck quickly (believe me, I can do this myself), It will show him what is the card that will came in 22th or 23th position. Pretty usefull when on draw because on a full table, it will be the turn or the river... personally, I refuse that someone cut the deck for this reason, because if he got some talent, you will never see him look at the bottom card because of his ability

| | | | Man, Id kick him so hard id probably kill him. Im not kidding he would be dead if he tried that on me. | |

| | | | LoL i agree with zaphor especially if its a home game with friends Friends dont steal/cheat on home games.. Otherwise you wont have many friends to play poker with after that! | |

| | | | Yeah, i can deal from bottom of deck, but dont with friends. If iwas to deal myself AA i would just get outdrawn anyway - my dam luck.
Ive been doing card/coin magic for a while as a hobbie, tend to do tricks in pubs when im wasted. why im nicknamed MAGIC by friends. If anyone is interested in getting flash with cards i suggest getting SHOW OFF WITH CARDS DVD, should be able to get it pretty cheap on ebay. starts with basic stuff(fans, 1 hand cuts etc), to incredible stuff that looks impossible.
A good by for a card magicain.

| | | | Hi guys, this is my first post. I know magiccard from college, magic, drunken phone calls at 3 in the morning and more recently poker.
Anyway, the bottom deal although useful is pretty useless if someone is burning the deck. However, the second deal (push off method) is practically undetectable when done right. Basically the top card remains where it is until you want to deal to yourself.
Well at the moment I only play fixed limit but I'm gonna have to join you no limit guys at some point in the future.

| | | | Hey fonz. No i've never played with Stu before and I'll not be playing in the tourney - too rich for my blood and I don't know about NL yet. I've just cashed out of pacific and have started playing with my friends in my garage.
If I played NL with you guys I'd be Mr Fish and I'd no doubt be found out straight away. I'll have to play some low limit NL before I play for £10 never mind the £37.50
Cheers for welcoming me to the group though. | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread
