Default I want to learn HU NLHE

I want to learn everything I can about playing heads up SnG's. If anyone has any good reads or ESPECIALLY videos, or even some first hand advice I would really appreciate it. Heck if someone wants to sit through a few of my sessions on skype or something I'd love it.

I've been playing a lot of 2.20's on stars just to get some practice. Been slightly winning but it comes in swings. I can't always put people on hands, and I don't know if my strategy for getting a read on the player is optimal. HU is a mind game... and I love mind games. Plus there's a lot of action because you're playing almost every hand.

And finally, I think learning HU play is incredibly important to every other aspect of poker. Isn't there a lot of money to be made from 2nd to 1st in MTTs and STTs? Aren't incredible hand reading skills developed through heads up play? Don't you develop the postflop skills to play any hand?

I'm all ears.

I recommend you watch Gimme and Cat5Cane play. They are the masters at it, but they say you need to raise a lot from the button. When I started doing so my HU play increased a great deal. It allows you to be aggressive and players will show their style of play by doing so. The timid player will just fold to it and raise when they have a hand. The agro player will re-pop you so you can trap with good hands.
So go read Cane's post's to start.

Good luck.
