Default Where has everyone gone???

I was going to ask for some suggestions for a tourney. I won two tables $24/$7 as a qualifier for the Semi-Finals for PartyPoker Million IV. I have earned 1200 extra chips for each day ( separate tourneys ). 7-8-04 is the first one and 7-9-04 is the second one. probably over 600 participants or thereabouts...

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

I'm not very clear on what advice you are looking for, style of play? How to manage the time between two tourney's? Sounds like you are doing well and good luck.

Sorry...they are Hold Em'...I am used to NL Hold Em'...

What are the major differences?

It took me about 45 minutes to get used to Hold Em' last night...you can't push people out until the blinds get high...SO...How do you play early while the blinds are low?

Don't make mistakes. Even though the blinds are low play tight and when you make a nice hand push it hard. When the blinds get higher just loosen up and play normally.

don't try any 'moves' early on. sometimes i won't even play the first two rounds of those tournaments. any little money you win early won't mean much later on. try to save as much cash as possible only playing hands where you can isolate to 1 or 2 people or win a multiway hand.

Well I finished 169th out of over 1300...missed playing a nut flush and a pair of fives that turned into a full house...bigger bets pushed me out early. Then I played two good hands and got beat on the river both times...I did take it easy early and only played "very good" hold 'em cards. Learned a lot about playing hold 'em. The big stack pushed me out on two hands that I almost rode out...
