I'm quite new to poker. i know the basics but thats it really. I did realise strategy was so important untill i started reading these forums. Can anyone recomend and good poker books for me? I have been playing holdem NL, generally on tournaments
Look in the Advice & Stategy Section, clarkey. I'm sure there will be something there for you. If not google beginner poker books. There are all sorts of choices. Hope you find one you like.
