I think the best thing you can teach a new player is which hands are playable going by pot odds, but also about which hands are worth drawing to.

You might as well help out some of the other players as well, unless this girl is hot as hell and you need some bedtime action. It sounds like your is superior to theirs anyway, if they learn a little it won't even the field. Besides you will only get better by playing better opponents, teaching is also a great way to learn.

I play in a bi-annual game. At this game I tend to call more then I normally would, because it is nickle dime quarter, and we are drinking and there just as much as a social event as for the poker. I do try to fold in obvious situations and usually come out even or ahead overall.

In a friendly game with the lads, I try to give advice whenever I can. Not worth losing friends over money. Playing with ppl i don't know on the other hand, I would keep quiet.

I try and argue with the experienced players and their advice. Telling the newer players not to listen he only wants you to fold your gut straight draw. Trust me when you hit the gut straight you will look like an Einstein and he will be a fool. All the while I am raking in the benefits of these players endlessly chasing the fool's gold. Listen up poker players this is a game of profit not charity.

My philosophy of poker is: If I can got some easy cash, why not? If a beginner don't know the good strategy, he will most of the time say : "I'm not lucky at all tonight..." Just answer yes and continue to play your game without giving a trick or two. Poker is not humanist at all. Like for illusionist, our magic must be mysterious and incomprehensible for the average player.

the hardest thing to get rid of is bad habbits... good poker players notice every gesture u make to determine wut u have... thats an advantage online because u cant see the player ur playing....
