Does anyone know where I can purchase a good set of poker chips for under $200? What characteristics should I look for when purchasing a set (size,weight,color,material)?
The ones you see at most casinos are made of clay, and I suggest getting ones without $$ amounts printed on them so you can make denominations for any stakes. Also the ones with amounts on them are hardly ever distributed well. I would look on ebay to get an idea of some of the manufacturers as I can't remember any. You can also find cool stuff like a true casino poker table with a dealer position w/chairs and don't forget a dealer button and base card for the deck.
