I usually don't say anything even if they are talking smack about me. If I am online, I dont say a peep beside nice hand. At home and in real life tournaments I dont say anything because it can possibly give something away some how.

I find that if they pull a gun out of their holster and lay it on the table, its a tell not to call.

Also, if your playing at your house and a player say's he's going to burn your house down if you call, is another tell to watch for.

I usually save the talking for 1 of those people who spend more time buying a hand then playing 1... when someone calls them threw to the end and they catch something on the river, i'm really quick to point out "What an IDIOT he had NOTHING Til the end" if his cards are shown first in a loss i just make fun of him for the next 2 or 3 hands that they call on... ewww careful he might have a 73 this time... I'm sure u know the kind i'm talking about.

I play a lot of 2/4 cent 2 man limit holdem tables on PokerStars. With heads up, of course you can't play the nuts all the time because you rarely get the nuts. At these tables, I bluff a lot, and usually when I do have to nuts and bet them, the other person folds and I only win a very small pot. To throw off my opponents, I like to check the nuts to the river then let my opponent to bet and I raise him. This way, he never knows if I am checking the nuts or nothing and it just completely throws him off. Its fun too.

I love when people are talking smack to me because they become so focused on what to say and what comeback to make, that they make horrible decisions. I like to let people say whatever they want and not even pay attention. When this happens, the other player is usually on tilt and is pretty easy to beat.

i found online that a loose player who tries to steal a lot of smaller pots likes to just limp in before the flop and then come out firing after the flop but when they have good starters they raise preflop then come out with smaller bets after a flop to sucker u in.
