Default i hate poker

have been quite unlucky in these past few freerolls being that i havent made it past the first 1/2 hour in any of the past 2 nights...last night i got knocked out quite early when i had pocket jacks and 246 came out on the flop and i bet 200 to a guy who called my raise preflop and he reraises me all in with 35 and busts me very early...and tonight i got another bust when i had a10 of diamonds and q clubs 4 clubs a hearts comes out on the flop so i bet like 300 and the guy reraises me all in and i call and he turns over aj of clubs and i got crushed...i have a question, was that a bad play to call him??? i thought it was a pretty good play because i was figuring i was going up against a flush draw anyway it just sucked that it was an ace jack of clubs...was it a bad play or just bad luck???

Cool you hate poker?!!!

Ok, first of all, freerolls? you lost in freerolls and you are upset? they're free!
second of all, I think that was an ok play. I dont know if It was necissarily an all-in hand, but you might have gotten a read on the guy, maybe he had been betting a lot continuously. who knows, but it was a freeroll anyway. bottom line:dont sweat it.

Did you bring it in for a raise preflop with the pocket jacks? If not than that is not unlucky, you're inviting people to play small connectors like 3 5. If you did raise preflop and he called with that, than that is simply a bad player getting extremely lucky

Even if you did raise preflop with JJ, the guy most likely called with AJ suited, and as for thinking you had the best hand on the flop - I'd say you made the right call because if he had hit trips on teh flop he probably would have milked it more. Tough play, but as Ngyuen said, "that's no limit baby."

if you look at it, better to lose 1000000 play chips then 10000000 at real tables
