Default Americans vs Europeans

I have only been playing online for about 6 moths and only at low stakes tables. I have however noticed that american players overplay aces. (A2-A9) Is this true or is it just me? It's not that I mind ppl playing ace and a lowcard.

I wouldn't say "all americans" overplay anything or that "all Europeans" don't do this. I would however, say I find more Americans will bluff than Europeans but then again, there are more yanks playing online so maybe it's just a misconception thing.

It has nothing to do w/ American players or European players, a lot of people over play ace's w/ crap kickers, and I love it cuz thats what I call easy money. Here and there I'll wish my pk. kings or queens wouldn't have been called by such rags but 90% of the time it pads my bankroll.

Its obvious that a population statistic cant be takin, its just impossible so we will never know if Americans play aces with poor kickers more than Europians. Personally I never play A 9 and below. I dont like to play A 10 but i do. Everyones expierience will be different, and since there is no concrete evidence, it mine as well be superstition. Even with an actual statistic, would you trust it 100% of the time?

It will always be too ambiguous

I think you are right about the bluffing Winston. The reason for ppl overplaying Aces with low kicker is probably inexperience. Personally I'd choose a JTs over an A9-A2.
