Default Firing out with Pocket pairs?

Aganist an ultra ultra aggresive player who raises with any ace, any suited connector any big connector and any pair. Is it correct (assuming after his raise you are now heads up in the pot with him) too move allin with 77's or better because at this point you are probably the favorite.

In most cases I would say yes, considering the pot size and the likelyhood you think hes' going to call. You might want to drive him out of catching his ace high.

I enjoy pushing people all in with 8's an high, espcially 10's or higher.

I really don't think there is a definite answer too your question. I would go all-in with 77 if I where on the low stack.

if you are heads up and have a pair - your favourite against the other player with any two cards

as his hand needs help and yours is a made hand

Like Fonze said, if you are heads up. I Fired away last night with poket nines calling someones all in and i got another caller which took my chances down to 20% at best. Pocket pairs are good head up but make sure there are only two in the hand.

I defenitly feel more comfortable with pocket 7's than i do with a k all day hands down. Bring on those guys I'll wait til I geta pocket hope than don't have one and bring it on. I'm not scared if your scared go to church

Pocket 9's are my favorite hand I never lose with them & I seem to always have them in big money hands. Pockety pairs you just can't beat thm ya know.???

I'm still trying to figure out whether I like pocket pairs or not. On one hand, you get the ultimate element of surprise and chances for a set. The thing I hate is deciding whether to stay in to see the turn and river in hopes of getting the set or just to fold. It seems like every time I stay in, I lose, and every time I fold, I would have ended up winning.

Default 77

I would recommend moving all in against an agreesive player with 77 only if you

are the short stack. If you have a lot of chips you should not do it. Chances are

if you are trying to push the maniac out of the pot it won't work. Wait till you

get a monster, but until then stay out of his way and when he folds if he ever

does, make sure you get those blinds. Good luck at the tables.
