yes but only by about 3-4% ( I assume you mean against any 2 unpaired cards)...which brings me to something that no one has mentioned yet but it is of the utmost importance.....is it a tourney or cash game?........in a cash game and I know I am a favorite, no matter how small, I am putting the chips in and letting it ride.....In a tourney, are you really going to risk your tournament life on a 4% edge? I'm not ( unless you are shortstacking of course). With low/mid pairs, you are usually about a 4% favorite at most ( unless they called with an underpair, not likely) but you could be a HUGE dog if they have an overpair......So it really depends on what kind of game you are talking about here.

position is the key when playing any pocket pair. Early on, there are far too many chances that you will get caught behind a big reraise that will put you in a difficult situation.

with that said, I like any middle pair against an overly aggressive player.
