I think of music... and anything that makes me happy. Try thinking of a girl or something... or something that just kinda cheers you up.

personally i get mad but i make it a point to myself not to let it effect me. u just have to be aware of when u get a bad beat and make sure u keep playing your cards like u would always play them. if u catch yourself playing differently b/c of a loss u know your in trouble.

I'm not sure if this will help you or not. I try to keep in my that every hand is a new game. I understand how you feel about those bad beats, but you have to let 'em go and play the next hand as if you just sat down. Easier said than done though.

I go have a smoke and give myself what I call the speech. "Play good poker, don't lose."

If you can't go on tilt once in a while, then what good are you!! eh.
the best cure I find, is throwing your computer in your swimming pool.
After a few trips to the swimming pool, you won't go on tilt anymore.

I have found that when I take a bad beat. I just sit back and try to relax. I will tighten upo for a few hands as much as possible, so as to not let the trend continue. But most of all I realize that I am most likely going to win all of those chips back in 1 big pot. I understand that it will take time and patience to return to my former position.
