How would you play it?

I was just wondering if anyone would have played this hand different and if they can put the opponent on the right hand. This an actual hand that happened to me in the last tourney.

Opponent opens in early position. We have about the same size stack. I have a little bit more.

Im dealt:

I call in late position. No other players called.

Flop comes:

The opponent moves all in. I call.

Can anyone guess his hand, or would you have done something different.

You have the nuts, why would you play any differently after the flop, regardless of the outcome? I would have called with a smile on my face. Whether you should have re-raised pre-flop or not is debatable but irrelevant I think. Assuming that you lost this hand, I assume he called with 2 pair and filled up on the turn or river. Or, but less likely, he had something like AK suited ( clubs or spades and caught runner runner to flush you down the toilet. So I say he had KQ or AK suited........No way he tripped up and caught the one outer did he?

okay now this is bothering me....I got to know...what did they have?

i dont know anyone who wouldnt call an all in with the nut straight and no paris and no flush draws on the board...the worst case scenario is he has the nut straight as well and you two split the pot...majority of the time tho he wouldn't have hit the straight and maybe had two pairs...maybe trips but the preflop raise would have to come into effect for a correct decision.

I love it when people get upset at a beat and they question every aspect of their poker game. Always remember bet the percentages and live with the consequences. Although there is skill in the game, luck is the added aspect that puts the word gambling into the equation. I had a friend who lost a satellite by going all in with K/2 with K 2 9 on the flop, and lost to 2/9 playing heads up. Now he refuses to play with anyone with 9's on the table. I just laugh at his insecurity.

Call....i would figure him on an ace or two pair
