Using Low stakes as a test drive.

I was reading cardplayer and i happened to glance over an article about testing sit n go strategies that you develop on lower stakes tables first b4 running with them on the big game. Of course i took my craziest strategy down to a 5'er on PStars and I took it down. Haven't got the ballz to try it out on my normal buy-in table because I'm still fairly confident that those players are so weak that the sample isn't valid. Any opinions?
