Ooops I didn’t have time to comment on this at the time....so sorry my bad.....but I'll add my 2c now....

When you should pass KK pre-flop.....quite simply when u feel it's right to.....I know I won't, I'll go up against AA with my KK all day long, it's the 2nd best starting hand you can get.....maybe, just maybe if there is a hell of a lot of action before you, you could lay it down, but then they may be all holding an ace which just makes your hand all the more stronger......play KK all-in regardless and if you lose at least you went all-in with the 2nd best hand possible.

As for the HHs......no one from what I have read has said pass on the re-raise.......mid to low pocket pairs...."IF" you are going to raise with them....”IF”.....then you face a back raise, get of the pot asap.....and wait for more solid cards to make your move on.

Regardless of what, a player who can play the game of poker will always find reasons as to why they made that play and lost/won...i.e. I had a read, I believed I was winning etc......whatever....if you raise with low pkt pair pre-flop and you get re-raised then get off the pot.....and if you don't and you get burned then it's all down to you, regardless of reads etc.....IMHO.

NB: at the time of the re-raise the player was not HU.

I would swear here, but I'm not going to (as I'm so happy).....regardless of if I'm right or not them comms from you Ben mean a hell of a lot.......it's took some time for me to believe that I know what I'm going on about, but what I have learned is that we all have our own opinion, so in some way we are all correct at the same time, except for when we are wrong…lol

I hope you hold this again, and I'll promise to get in it......it was only work that kept me out of this one.....Oh and my own bad time keeping.....lol

Great comp Ben......and well done and respect to the winner!

just to say that I can announce the prize fund will be 50$ for this competition. Would appreciate suggestions particularly from those left in the tourney whether we want 50$ for first or something like 35 for first and 15 for second.

Personally I like the idea of just $50 for first because this competition is to see who is the best of the best. Therefore I think that first place should take all of the prize money.

I agree with you in that sense bass but the combination of the judges, the voters etc "might" get it wrong and this would mean that if two answers are equally good in the end then even if the judges/voters potentially get it wrong something is won.

I am happy either way though

I'm with Ben on this, no dis bass, I feel a runner up prize of $15 is a fair prize and will continue to inspire members to enter IMO.

I have posted the poll for round 2 elimination in the poker online room section of the forum just to try to get a few more people voting. Poll closes sun morning (UK time) so please get voting and sorry again about the delays.

Think I have recruited sonny to be a judge for the next round (this will give either myself or fink a chance to have a break from judging - finks choice). The following round will have a question by jones t, possibly another question as well and will be the final. As in previous rounds only myself actually knows whos entries is whose and to be honest I as I post the answers straight into word I dont actually know whose answer is whose 90% of the time anyway.

Finally some more input re the prizes would be handy 50$ for first, 35 for first and 15$ for second or 39$ for first and a token 11$ for second (just enough for a 10$ MTT)...
