yep thats fine Kaart - Will extent the deadline for all till say 10am EST if you need more time let me know. Keen not to have people being excluded from the comp because of work commitments though I am also keen for the compition to continue moving forward. So if anyone else has a problem let me know.

Will make the other thread a sticky sonny - there are few threads in the advice and theory section on a daily basis but will make this thread and the Q 1 thread a sticky.

Thats all the entries in and I can tell everyone that there are 7 in total. Myself and fink are just finalising which entries will be safely into next round and which will have to face a public vote.

Questions for the next round, who is up for elinimation and feedback will be up fairly soon on the first round and we will also present the answers that people have given soon.

any idea when this is gonna be posted? Also, do people who enter have to do anything else, other than submit their ideas each week?

Is it possible that you publish all the result so everyone can read and learn?

gbj - waiting for fink to get back to me with feedback - if we are in agreement then those up for elimination will be announced. If we are not in agreement then we will sort something out a little bit later. The questions will be roughly once a round. In order to avoid big delays (judging and voting take time) sometimes people will get the question before they will know whether they are through into the next round or not. Their might be a bit of variation week to week but ultimately there will be about the same work load each round although we will be widening the word limits for at least the next two rounds.

DJ the whole point of this competition is to get debate discussion etc but this takes time. What myself and Fink deem to be the very strongest answers will go through straight to the next round. The remaining answers will be posted in the forum and people can vote on which is best. Then the rest of the posts will be added and the board will be opened up for discusion. This seems to be the way to maximise fairness AND to maximise value to the discussion threads. But it will take a little time.
