I disagree jeter. I'd say do your standard thing. Betting less than normal is a tell that you have a better hand and want more people in the hand. ~ Biggs

Well thats what I'd do in a ring game, in a tourny, I'd try to trap the player or just bet big pre flop

Default AA is the devil.

Either you will win big, or lose big. I usually go all-in, no matter how many chips I have, online or table poker.

I don't think that's too smart. Are you talking pre-flop?? Because unless someone else has a premium hand, you're not going to get much action. ~ Biggs

Thats true, I always prefer to slow play aces, especially against an aggressive opponent.

That's what I usually do too, but I'm learning it's better to try to gradually bet in case your aces do not amount to much. Then you haven't lost much and you can keep more people in the game in case you win. I think it all depends on the feel.

About 80% of the time in my poker career, I have lost AAs either slowplayed, normalplayed or an all-in I have lost to trips, straights or flushes. After losing a big tournament near my hometown where I placed 16th and 15th and up got money... I vowed to myself until something changes in the future, if I get AA I will go all-in no matter how many chips I have. I rather pick up the blinds then lose all my chips with riverrats.

its a hard thing to determin i guess... going all in would be best stradagy if your low on chips but if you have a lot of chips i find its beter to play it a bit slowe.. who knows maybe you'll flop an ace.
