AA is a tricky hand. It depends on what the table has been doing up till that point. But on a table I dont yet have a read on. I usually make my "I have a playable hand" bet. I always try and bet the same preflop, fold or limp in (whenever the blinds are lo and I can get away with it.) I hope that someone raises, me then I usually reraise them all in, if the raise was significant enough. Otherwise I will try and chip at a person's stack. I do at times have to lay them down following this strategy, but rarely lose to sts or flushes, as I wwill fold to a really strong draw. However it is tough to get beat by 2 p and trips as well.

I was playing with some guys I met. We played for like 200 bucks each. Now i hit AA and i go all in after the flop. My opponent catches his river and makes a str8.

on pokerstars you barely ever win with them and you almost never want to get them cause you know you are probably gonna get beat

i have lost more times with pocket aces then playing 6/7o i always used to slow play them and someone would always get a flush draw or a straight draw. so now i just raise big preflop.

I guarantee that not true Nick. It's just seems like it b/c you're a lot less likely to fold AA. That all.

I rather have AK than AA. AA is too hard to get away from after the flop. Which always causes me to lose money.

You always gotta bet strong with AA especially if you sense weakness in your opponents. If the flop is a rainbow with nothing that helped your opponent then keep betting strong and pray that he didn't slowplay 2 pair :-D
