Default PL Omaha H/L

My main game is PL .25/.50 I sit with $50 and play in general 1-3 hr sessions

What should my flop seen % and hands won % be?

Generally its 25-30 % flops seen and 8-10% hands won

Am I playing too tight, should I see more flops or are my numbers in a good spot?

If any one has some advice on this it would be of great help

I am no expert at omaha but I am quite sure you are playing to loose.

I think your flop seen should be down and with that your pots won will go up - will speak to ben and ask him to comment(he is good at the game of omaha)

% of hands won is fairly meaningless as this includes split pots.

You are playing at the higher end of what would be recommended flop wise. If you are choosing tables where you can limp in cheap but will get a decent pay day when you get the nuts thats fine but otherwise it does seem pretty high.

The key thing is how much $$ are you making and do you keep to the same tabel or do you change it. I rarely stay at the same table for more than 30 min and i only play when the circumstances are right. I find a table where there are some players playing so loose that I can get a big pay day from patiently waiting for the nuts. I leave when the loose fish leave and I note down their names to track them down on future occasions.

I have just been informed from hints and tips from a TV pro (on TV) that in order to be good at any poker you really should learn them all......I'm a okay stud player 7 h/l (shout out to adaon for that one) So now I'm going to have to embark on a omaha trip......!!!!

However I refer to a post I made a while ago..........

THF Player of the Year
I started playing omaha last year. I accidently entered an sng thinking it was NL(I bet a few of us have done this) I had to find the rules and read them quickly whilst playing. Beginners luck - I finished second and enjoyed the game so much I often have a go when I feel like a change. It's a really enjoyable game. I find you do have to be patient and fold a lot , so I'll usually do something else to keep me occupied between hands.

I haven't been playing too long, and I'm much more confident playing holdem . I read up and have a knowledge of good starting hands and I'm basically looking for those hands before I enter a pot. Even at this stage I'm fairly succesful and believe me , at the smaller stakes tables there are some really terrible omaha players out there -Infact if I go to a table where someone appears to know the score I'll leave and find a looser table-there's lots of em!
