Doyle Brunsons Trouble Hands

some of those hands i personally like..but ace jack is the worst hand i could get..i dont think ive ever won with it

J T off, is the sort of hand i want in Blackjack not Poker!

Id definately play JT in a middle position if there is no raise yet, but no way would I re raise it. Now in early position, thats a different thing, sometimes I might depending on how cards have been going my way (If its been going good or haven't seen a jack or 10 around for awhile, than ill give it a shot, if the flop is bad its gone) . Also if theres a guy at the table that raises/plays anything and you get this in early its automatically gone.

on any hand, any hand can beat any other hand, for some of those hands youre going to be the favorite many times, its all about how you play

I would just have to reiterate the fact that it is all dependent on positioning and getting a feel for the players at the table. If you get A-Jo in early position and know that it will most likely get raised at some point after you, then I would consider calling and folding to a big raise. However, the smartest play would probably be to lay it down.

I agree A Q shouldnt be in that list. I think its a very nice hand. The others on there I wouldnt play most of the time, depending on the situation as many have already pointed out. But even then I dont think theyre trouble because unless you hit something good on the flop theyre easy to lay down.

for some reason i always ge tlucky with J 5. I know its a band hand, but i usually get a boat off of it. maybe beginers luck?

Nobody here likes 9-10 suited? For some reason my best friend loves to play it...guess everyone has there hands since I love to play K-2 suited. It never lets me down, go figure!
