Personally, I would have pushed in the BB with the 63 suited. While a garbage hand you were going up against only one other player and even against a hand like AK you are only about a 3 to 2 dog before the flop. The two things that would make me push here are the fact that I was up against only one other player and if he has two high cards I'm not that big a dog(although you would be going into the hand for all your chips as a dog something we all try to avoid)and if he raised with a pair at least it is poss. for your hand to make a Flush or a Straight. The other thing I would consider is what do I have a chance to win if I push and hit? Here if you push and hit you end up with 12,200 chips at least you can use that stack to steal some blinds etc. and have a real chance to take the tourney down. If you fold, you have 3600 and are still alive but with no betting power so what ever you have has to hold or suck out on your opponent anyway. Now if you get lucky and win your small blind hand you have 9200, but that's only because someone made a bet that isolated the two of you. Do you really want K 4 in a 3 or 4 way pot? I don't. Looking back now, you know that the K4 was against one opponent, but at the time I would be holding the 63 I wouldn't know that and figuring that most likely I would have junk the next hand in the SB anyway with the poss. that I would have to go up against multiple opponents I would push and take my chances. To me there comes a time in the tourney when you can't keep playing not to lose, but need to start playing to try and win and I tink that was one of those times. Ok seems I just started rambling.
