Dont try and cheat the level system

as you know, we added a new level system recently.

I cannot stress how much it isnt in anyones interests to try and cheat this system.

The jump from level blue to level red requires manual approval however the first jump from white to blue requires 50 posts and to have been registered for.

Prime example is rydawg61. Yesterday he posted 50 posts exactly in a matter of hours. I have placed rydawg61 in a temporary usergroup - he will remain at white level until he posts 50-100 high quality posts.

FF isnt gonna be a spam site with garbage posts. For example, in a totally unrelated thread rydawg61 posted 'eeeeeeeeee'.

This is a gambling forum - everyone here should be adults and those who act like kids will be treated like kids. We will be taking a tough stance on this to ensure the site goes in the right direction.

Also, bear in mind that the jump from blue to red requires manual approval so poor early posting will go against you in the long run.

I dont want you to think too much about whats a good post and what isnt. As long as your here talking poker, keep posts on thread topics then youll be fine.

Out bluntly, if you post garbage in order to jump a level - we'll find out and youll be put in level limbo

speaking for myself, i contribute to the forums as i find it needed (i.e., when i have something semi-intelligent to say and would like to add my two cents lol)
but i have no problem whatsoever if u subtract posts from my post count if u find some of them not to be 'quality' ones. im sure there are a few here and there that are not.
fair is fair.

As long as you arent blatently cheating the system, you will be ok. We just want to make sure no one thinks they can climb the ranks through posting off topic, pointless or plain unhelpul posts.

Basically, you can't climb the ranks unless you have quality posts. So don't waste your time and ours thinking you can cheat the system. The people who do this tend to be blatently obvious.

If you think you have some posts that arent of a level of 'quality' for the rank you request, then don't request that rank until you have more posts that will merit the recognition that level sybolizes.

i just read this thread last and have already posted 2 other times today-sorry-like i said you can remove them if you want-no squabbles about it.

We wont be having blue freerolls til we have more members at that level so theres no rush to get to that level anyways.

Put simply - no one wants to come here and read page after page of unrelated replies like 'eeeeeeee' - it would make this a poor place to hang out.

Seriously guys - youve got nothing to worry about. These rules dont really concern 99% of you out there - its just for the small percentage out there who dont want to contribute to the site

i like the new levels system and i like not letting people who just write stupid posts to advance

yes i definately like the new level system that has been worked in but i have one question about red level... is there somewhere u post to be in it or will you just be asked by one of the mods if you would like to be sent to red level..?

getting to red level has still to be decided

we wont be having red level games just now so it isnt an immediate concern.
