Suggestion for ranking/leader board?

I play a ton on jet set, now that you guys told me about it, and I notice a bunch of names from here and other places. I know that I am NOT better than these players but I would like to see how I rank next to them.

So, is there anyway we can track finishes and put up a Freerollforums players ranking? Sort of like what Jveles did for the week of jetset freerolls.

I am assuming you mean track all the members affiliated with FF and that play on Jetset, tracking all of their tournament playing and rank them...?

Too much work. One person going through Jetset daily trying to find all FF members that have played in tournaments there. We cant rely on the honor system here, we are all poker players and should never be trusted.

fonz emailed me today saying that when the site is launched properly there will be a league like on THF

it will probably not be until a month or so after launch but its definately something im keen to launch

That's a great idea. I would love to see the addition of a league type format to the site. Perhaps there can be a few different columns. Ranked based on prize money earned, number of tournaments won, or probably the best way to do things is like poker superstars... where you get a certain number of points for placing in a tournament. Say top 20 get points. 1 point for 20th and 20 points for first and the ladder increases the way in between.

Then say break it up into season, like 2-3 months. And then the top 20 or so ranked players could have a championship tournament. I think that would be cool.

This can be tedius work gathering all the information, but if you need any additional help I would volunteer some of my time. Just let me know.

So some players who do not have all three sites that they are not punished on the leader board i say there should be a sperate leaderboard for all three sites and each individual site could have their own top 100 or whatever number fonz wants to be in a final.

Splitting up like that would be good, but there should be an overall "tourney leaderboard" that tracks every freeroll. Then you could simply have the "pokerstars leader", the "jetset leader", and so on. I think if you guys made a system like this, which it sounds like you are, it would add just that much more to this site and the freerolls, especially since the freerolls will be more "legit" with the ranking system. Competition will be fun.

i think the best way to do the league would be to have 4 separate leagues, the white league, blue league, red league and green league, then say the top 9 or something from each league go nto a tournament to decide the champion of champions
