How to post pictures at TexasHoldemForums

I have written this guide since a lot of members are having trouble posting pics on the site

Attaching an image to your post

For smaller pics it is best to just attach the pic to your post.

Underneath the "Submit new thread" and "Preview Post" buttons you will see a section called "Additional Options"

Click on the "Manage Attachments" option to add one or more files to your post

Linking to an image on the web

http://www.texasholdemforums.com/misc.php?do=bbcode gives you full details of how to use bb code.

The tag for placing an image on a post is IMG.

To show an image on your post you would do this. I have used the site logo as an example :

[ img ] http://www.texasholdemforums.com/ski...orums/logo.jpg [ / img ]

I have added spaces so that it doesnt post the image. If i remove the image you will see this when adding the above code



You can use this method to link to images in the THF gallery and to other images on the web you find. There are also image hosting sites, such as http://www.imageshack.us/, who allow you to upload pictures.


Adding a pic to the THF Gallery

The THF Gallery can be found at

http://www.texasholdemforums.com/gallery/index.php

You can upload pictures by clicking on the Upload Photo link at the top of the gallery menu (http://www.texasholdemforums.com/gal...ploadphoto.php)

Please make sure you post the picture to the right gallery section

Once you have posted the image, you can right click and get the image address and then show the pic in your post by using the IMG tag method mentioned above.
