These are all very good ideas, i agree with just about every one, but an idea is the top point getters..like 30 or 40 people, get into a tourney, to battle it out to see who really is the best player

If you can get back to us about recent developments when ever you get them that would be great

with regards to software its been a no go
only one company got back to me and they said they only deal with total solutions - sports betting, bingo etc - and god only knows how much that would cost

however, i think it would be better to get something arranged with an exisiting poker company. Im sure i could come to some sort of arrangement with them or pay for any extra programming or whatever that needeed done. As you said, ill keep you all updated

I can hand you an updated leader board in txt format after each tourney Fonze. I just need to know what stats you would like to keep track of. Something like this wouldnt take me long to do depending on what you want...

Unless of course you want to pay for a preffessional program which by all means go for that i wont be offended.

it will depend on how we set the whole thing up
id prefer any league we set up to be for play money and have freerolls and tournaments where people have already won money go into a hall of fame or something

I think Fonz was talking about poker tournament software, to actually run tournaments, not the one that you vulentiered for.

Are you a programer Cowboy?...if so how about taking a couple of years off and write a tournament program.

Ahhh so you are thinking to have a pretty in depth program. In that case, you may want to go for the professional software lol.

what i was hoping was that an established poker company will run exclusive play money tournaments for us - ill email a few companies and see if theyll get back to me
