Default Approval System?

Hey Fonz, I know you had a thread explaining the approval system, but when exactly will it come into effect and is that what will determine the entrants for the freerolls? Also, one question about the Large Heat freerolls: the final freeroll is a restricted one where only the top 5 from the 10 freerolls get in. I'm not sure how this all works and how you set it up with PokerStars, but I was wondering if it was possible to make all of your freerolls like this final one where it is restricted and only certain members (I guess who pass the approval system) get in. Again, I don't know if it is possible but I was just trying to think of some way to help the real members in playing each other instead of playing a ton of other people who got the password from someone else or just posted junk to reach the minimum. Thanks for everything, including the tourneys, and I think this site is awesome. Keep it up man and good luck in the Finals.

Thats what the approval system is for. If you read the thread on it, it will tell you how it is going to work.

Good, like what I used to do and just steal passwords from unsuspecting forums will be eliminated and cause people to actually do something to gain a chance to win money.

it will probably come into effect in about 4-6 weeks - by that time there will be a few approved members im sure, as said the approval system is set up so that only regular members can play. I quite like the idea of multi heat tournaments - it means i can give out more on the grand final instead of having several freerolls with lower prizes

Fonz, I posted in that thread, and it even added to my post count; however, when I look for the post in the "apply" thread, I cannot find it.

Have you received the application?

you havent applied and cant as yet - before you can see the room you have to have been registered 4 weeks

you registered on 02-02-2005

not long for you to go though - ive automated the whole process. When its been 4 weeks exactly you will be able to see the room to apply in

for the approval system, do you register for it or are you automatically applied if you reach a certain posts number or something like that?

aro - yeah you probably seen it. I hadnt set the promotion up 100% correctly via the forum - its fine now.

My mistake though so for the 10 or members who can see the thread - they can apply for approval just now (i dont see the point manually taking you all out of the additional usergroup only for you to be added back a few days later particularly when it was my error)

kik - when you have have been here 4 weeks and have 100 posts you will see this thread

You were one of the 10 or so people i mentioned that should see it just now so you can see it and apply
