due to the recent batch of spammers etc i have made the decision to add an approval system to the site
What is the Approval System and why was it started?
The approval system was started to ensure that freerolls, prizes and site benefits are only given to those who contribute to the growth of the site. We have had a lot of problems with spammers in the past and this is one step we have addd to ensure that spam is reduced and the quality of posts in the forum remains high.
This system rewards those who are good members and stops members making pointless 1 sentence posts in order to get their post level up.
Approved Members Get
• Private Messaging
• Access to freerolls
• Access to certain restricted rooms
• Option of adding an avatar to their posts
• Option of adding a signature to their posts
So what do i need to do to get approved?
First of all you need a minimum of 100 posts though having 100 posts doesnt mean you will be automatically approved - you may not be approved til you have 200 or 500 posts or whatever. You must also have been registered for at least 4 weeks.
When you have 100 posts you will see the approval room which is a sub forum of the suggestions and feedback room. From there all you need to do is make one post and one post only in the Get Approved Thread.
At this point a staff member will look at your forum posts.
To become approved
You must have been registered for at least 4 weeks and have a minimum of 100 good posts.
Your posts need to be of a high/good quality (eg members with lots of 1 sentence replies will not be approved).
Your posts must not break the rules - eg racist remarks, offensive comments to fellow members, posting affiliate links, promoting other sites.
Essentially if you are a good member and have come here to post you'll get approved - the approval system was set up to stop spammers getting into tournaments and to not reward those who are here with a hidden agenda (eg promoting a site or whatever).
