Why Is it that the odds vary from calculator to calculator I had an ongoing argument with a nameless player recently over a hand where mentally(which he was clinically certifed as lacking any) I had myself way in front and he sucked out as per usual!! Anyway he argued he was in front (of on oncoming train I wish) and quoted odds of his calculator so I checked with the one I use sure enough I was an 82% Favourite 2% split and he a mere16%! When he gave me his link for the calculator he used I was still in front but only a 67% one that is, it just me or as it is based on a mathematical formulae shouldn't it be the same whichever calculator you choose to use?
Anybody else found this or was this particular hand just a freak ( as was my opponent)?
Someone didn't enter the cards right. One of you has got probably 2 cards wrong and I can't think of any other way you would see that much difference.
Nope fraid not the cards where right he was using a Lithuanian site that could explain it lol but the discrepancies were genuine or I wouldn't have bothered posting it was curious as to wether this has ever happened before to anyone that was all. Was the first (and only) time have ever compared results of same hand on 2 different odds calculators hence why wondered if it was a common thing or just a one off glich? The hand was weird I flopped trips with my p10's another player hit trips with their p9's and the eventual winner hit up and down. the reason odds so much in my favour was they were calculated after turn not flop before anyon jumps in and bites my head regarding how I could be such a big fav.
