Intro Lounge.....??

I can only say this Sonny...its a given. I dont think we need to recieve anything to greet our new fellow THF members and make them feel at home here. Some things are just a given

I kind of agree with you Sonny. But only on the part about the receiving credits. Now I don't think we should get them, the new members should. It is kind of a little gift for introducing yourself. Say maybe a 200 credit bonus for a new member to tell us who they are and so on. As for the posts counting for us I agree with Cali on this, that we don't need to be rewarded for welcoming new members. But the intro credit I feel is something that may be worth doing, even though the credits are worth nothing atm but eventually may be. Maybe the credits in a way could replace the approval process. Once a certain number has been reached a member would achieve new privileges or something along those lines.

We made the decision not to count posts from these rooms a long time ago and I still think that its the right decision. Do you think that someone who has got to 100 posts by posting jokes in the lounge should be eligible for approval? Personally, I don't think so.

From my own point of view, I don't put too much emphasis on post count anyways, it doesn't always paint a clear picture of a members status. Quality posts should always be more important than post count
