Let me throw out a variation. I am hearing that we don't want the individual winner, 2nd ,3rd, etc... to be exactly like the team standings. How about staying with 2 person teams and have both scores count. The only issue is what to do about no shows. Well, if your team is in contention or wants to be in contention u need to be there!!!

However I can see something like 5 points given to a no-show so there isn't too big a penalty.

I actually thought it was an average. I think it should be an average going forward with maybe just a tweak to the individual scoring system so the final table gets a higher distribution of the points.

OK, I'm going to set up the league the same as before...however, we can change the way team points are calculated after I have posted the thread.
