Default Pokerstars Freerolls

Yesterday I noticed people in the limit hold em area selling passwords to your freerolls. What is your policy on this? Do you wish to know the users that do this? I just thought it was odd they were selling freeroll passwords to tourney's hosted by your site.

yeah jerry - if you see anyone doing this report this to me. Members can email confidentially to me or pm/email a member of staff - one member has already been banned by doing this. We are going to have to submit freerolls manually to poker stars due to a small majority of players who are wasting it for everyone else - remember, more people in it, less chance of you winning any cash and less people contrbituting to the site for future freerolls

Manual registration takes a helluva lot longer and means we'll have to submit the full list about a day before which isnt what we want

ya.......that isnt cool at all.....people are on this site for more than just the free rolls....at least they should be....selling the password is a low down dirty thing to do....and the people to blame should be blocked from this site.....at least thats how i feel

what you should do is have the registration process be stopped about 10-15 mins before hand therefore you can be in contact with someone from pokerstars (unless you can do it yourself) and be able to boot anyone who doesnt meet the qualifications that you set.

yeah i know - im still not 100% sure what the best thing is to do, but im looking into it. I dont want good members to lose out because of guys like this posting the password.

Some sort of manual submission is perhaps the best way to do it though as i said, its timeconsuming.

yeah thats crap. i had a guy at one of my tables for at least an hour begging for sunday's password. nobody gave it up. good job guys! cant you submit a list of eligables to poker stars before the registration opens? also, maybe having registration one hour before tourney would eliminate some of the sit outs.

yeah making reg open an hour before might get rid of sitters
if i submit it manually though the list would have to be there the day before to ensure they got it in time. Plus i work full time and gathering usernames from hundreds of members could prove very time consuming

That is the flaw in the idea. Is there anything we can do to gather members for you? Or would that not be possible. I even saw a few people passing the password to friends, realatives, strangers, etc. Puts a damper in the mood to see 278 people in a 25 min. post freeroll. Haven't checked but i know that there are way less 25 posts than people entered.

yeah i think some sort of contact/submission form needs to be set up so that one person is submitted and checked against their membership

maybe some sort of verification so that once verified posts dont need to be checked again
ill look into it

I was just wondering how you get the password for the freerolls once you're elligible? Are they emailed to you? Thanks. -Kittles7789
