It seems that you are aloud to add to another members reputation my clicking on the silver button under a persons name. IF your reputation is high members like what you have to say and respect you.

its something ill probably emphasise more in the future

Fonze I had to go a ways back to find the meaning of the REP points and I'm not entirly sure if bigbossman was stating or guessing what the rep points were for. why would you add to ones reputation? He made a profound statement that makes you think. You believe it amuzing or entertaining. He makes a comment that you can agree with?

I know crapshoot made some comments that made me ponder a little more in my regular playing. would this be deserving of a rep point? can you give a person more than 1 rep point?

if someone makes a post you find funny or helpful you can add to their reputation

however, although i have it on just now i dont know if its something i will use as it can be abused

Not that it is that important at this time but I see no silver button under name. I do see under each post an underlined statement that says "Add to gdice's reputation". Is that where you click because I see no silver button to click on. I know its not important now but just curious where this button is. Thanks.

Its an excellent idea- say if someone goes down in rep pts they can be punished- but could easily be abused...

One problem though is that many people dont use them or forget about them when they read a good post. Maybe we should bring it to their attention and alert members to give Rep pts when someone makes a good post... What do you think FoNz? I know i owe cowboy one so ill track one of his posts down and give it to him for his HUGE post on holdem... It gave me confidence because a good player has the same style as me... Didnt change the way i play but was an excellent post.
