The reason for downtime yesterday

apologies for the downtime yesterday. Eventually the hosting company found that two old sites that were still on my server had too many connections resulting the low memory on the server. I have since switched off these websites and also doubled the ram in my server to 2gb

this should hopefully be the end of downtime here (i know its been bad in the past)

is this the end of the site going down?
In the future there are two reasons why THF may be down
* Site upgrades (eg the forum software)
* Server upgrade

with regards to the server upgrade, unfoprtunately i cannot upload any more than 2gb of ram. In the future there will be a time when we will need to add more and when that happens it means moving to a brand new dedicated and more powerful server - basically it means the site could be down for a day when the hosting company sorts things out
