A THF Suggestion & Feedback Thread

its been a long time since we've heard back from members so i thought id make a thread about it!

What needs to be improved?
What needs changed?
What would you like at THF?

for example, we still have a minor problem with the passwords not being posted in enough time. we tried just putting the pass up right away and the games were too busy and full of sit outs - everyone complained about that. So instead we have added more members the option of being able to see the pass to let members know about it. However, we have still on occasion failed in this regard. Therefore we need more approved members to chip in?

Scotia brough up an important point in this thread. If theres something like this which is bothering you please let us know. We arent perfect and we dont claim to be but we will do our best to explain our point of view in a given situation.

Hopefully this thread will bring up some good ideas for THF

Lol. It was not my intention to question one of the helper's decisions - Mattastic has been here a long time and is a respected member. I was just making a query about what we can and can't post

With regards to more people chipping in, Ive been here a while, and even though I don't really play in the THF games, Im on here pretty much every day. Ill try and post help more often to more inexperienced players.

Yeh I think the password thing is still an issue. It can be frustrating when you've organised some time or stayed up late to play a game and the tournament is cancelled because there is no password posted.

I don't know how the password posting is deligated so it's difficult for me to give any suggestions. I know that some approved members, regular freeroll players, have offered to help out with passwords if need be. My offer is still there and I know Mets also mentioned this recently.

Mistakes are bound to happen and people sometimes forget- that's understandable but unfortuantely many times it just seems to be the case that there happens to be no Leaders around in the hour or so before the start of the game to organsie the posting. Maybe we just need some more members with access to the password if Leader's arent around?

On Wednesday with lots of members waiting to play, the Jungle FR was unable to go ahead. Nobody was around to post the passy. It was postponed by Jungle a number of times, they added 15 minutes to the start time for an hour. NoBigKicker arrived in the forums and I thank him for doing all he could to get the game running. Unfortunately the password for this one was incorrect and the game was cancelled. This has happened a number of times also. Mistakes will happen I know and again it's difficult for me to comment since I don't know the reasons why this would happen. I'm just raising the issue.

It is frustrating when things don't go our way. Fireing off angry comments in these situations above doesnt get us anywhere. In an online community such as this it is understandable that things don't always run smoothly but the password mistakes do seem to happen fairly regularly.

I'm not having a moan or attaching blame. I havn't really any further ideas about how it can be improved but maybe somebody else might have.

ive made both you guys password posters so in future you will be able to post the pass to members if there is a problem

7letters - i know you arent moaning. Its a genuine problem that should have been resolved a long time ago. We need more people to chip in with posting the password so that there the pass will always be up

Well it's not necessarily just the freerolls Sonny. We have buyins at other sites that members play also and it's nice if we can get passwords sorted out for these also.

I don't know quite where you're coming from here as I seemed to remember you also playing in the BetRoad and other Freerolls recently. I'm not sure what you have 'evolved' into lol but I think your comments may be taken as disrespective here. C'mon man we're not scoring points here we're all just interested in playing poker. If some people choose to play poker for less cash than other players it's their choice and I for one respect that.

As a Leader I would hope you aren't too busy to give a little of your time and interest to help make sure the forum games go ahead ok so we can all enjoy playing in them and all enjoy playing against each other. That's what it's all about isnt it?

lol donk on the head? I'm sure I can think of a better place to put that baton but it might make Sonny wince a bit
