Default Are you missing out on free money?

As you can see by my title thats what i think i have been doing.

I have never been one for bonus chasing and usually stick to the same couple of sites and have done for a few years now. As we know alot of the cardrooms online are the by the same server with just a different skin as there front.

I got talking to a player i know who said am i not playing in the uktour qualifiers. This got me puzzled there were none up on my page till i realized he was on a different site and it was this site that was running them. So i went to have a nosey at this site as there is a event taking place around 30-40 miles from me in November and low and behold there offering $500 dollars promotion were if you play a certain amount points down thats what you get when you complete this.

With how often i have been playing lately i think i can clear this in around 20 days. My main point here is theres at least six sites i no of that play under this same provider with different skins. So if i was to play the points down in this site and then join another one that plays under the same server but different skin i can get alot of free money playing at a site i like and do well alas at different named sites.

As i am on my 2nd site i have extensive notes on the first site on alot of players i have been playing against at the levels i play at to clear the bonus which i have hand written down and now copied onto the new site to use to my advantage as none of them now have a note on me as you cant use the same name lol

Q1. so have i been missing out on free money sticking with the same site???

Q2. is it ethical to use these notes to my advantage under a different name???

many thanks for listening Raymond

Missing out on money? Hell yeh, deposit/redeposit bonuses, sign up bonuses, freerolls, your missing out on a lot. I'm not saying you shouldn't have a favorite site that is your main site (mine is P4E)...but keep your eye open nonetheless.
In terms of using your notes but on a different name...yes, as long as you've signed up with only 1 screen name per site.

Q1, yes, you could add more then $1,000 to your bankroll in a month if you were bonus chasing. In the next couple weeks I'm going to make a big push on this, then write up a blog on it.

Q2, no it is not, if you are caught using more then one account on a site, they will ban you from it.

edit: I'm sorry, I think I didn't understand question 2, using differnt sites that are affilated (like Full Contact Poker, and Poker room, or Royal Vegas Poker, and Prima poker) is fine.

Yip only have one screen name per site.

As i use the same method of paying for each site this as you know if i tried to use same card on the same site would set alarm bells ringing in the corridors of power lol

Im a big advocate of reload and deposit bonuses. I try not to play anywhere that im not clearing a bonus. Usually, while im playing, Im surfing the net looking for other deposit and reload bonuses. I normally clear $400-500 a month in bonus money alone. Some people probably believe its not worth it but I dont know anyone who woud sneeze at $500 a month to pad their roll. Others are outside their comfort zone playing at unfamiliar sites. Some are definitely easier than others, but Ive found that I can usually grind out a small profit at the very least even at the most difficult sites. Having the bonus to clear also gives you a goal to shoot for an some incentive to play, not to mention some insurance should you have a bad run of cards. Also, I dont believe the sites frown on multiple accounts as much as you might think as long as you only have one account in your own name and address, ip address, etc. For instance you might have another account in your wife's name. In fact, most of the affiliate sites are closet advocates of this, and some even give instructions on the best way to go about it. As long as they look the other way when its very easy to figure out, I dont see how its unethical. I think I heard someone say its unethical to let a fool keep his money.

Bonuses are great for players with small bankrolls but you really want to be getting rakeback too. There are a few good sites out there who will giveyou around 30% of your rake back. Check your poker tracker stats to see how much you pay the site to play and imagine 30% of that coming back to you!
